A versatile band that can deliver everything from hard driving blues to melodic acoustic tunes that leave you wanting more.

Killer horns, smoking guitars, tight grooving bass and drums, gritty passionate vocals, lyrically strong, bluesy, funky and soulful. With a strong catalog of original songs, The No Refund band is just flat out rocking. Do you really need to read any more? Listen to The No Refund Band and you will get taste of contemporary blues mixed into a genre all their own. The No Refund Band was formed by Mike Crownover in 2007 whose passion for music was the catalyst for NRB’s continuing maturation as unit. While rolling over one of the bumps in the road in the bands evolution, Crownover met Ricky Jackson and Rik Robertson who he hired to fill in for a gig in Ft. Worth, Texas. It didn’t take long for the partnership to gel into something more permanent as the trio found common ground in their musical interests. Jackson would become the front man, with a soulful voice and penetrating guitar licks. Robertson, a studio musician provided the anchor to the band with his innovative bass lines. Both compliment the rock solid rhythms from Crownover. With a horn section featuring Anthony Terry and Jim Brady, the result is a versatile band that can deliver everything from hard driving blues to melodic acoustic tunes that leave you wanting more.

Monte Pittman is an American musician, songwriter and solo artist, based out of Los Angeles. He is mostly known as Madonna's guitar player and for playing with Prong. His 3rd solo album "The Power Of Three" is released by Metal Blade Records.

Born and raised in Longview, TX, Monte Pittman made the decision at 24 to move to L.os Angeles to pursue a career as a professional musician unfortunately having to leave his family, friends, and band Myra Mains behind. Upon arrival in LA, he made ends meet by working at a local music store. Realizing he was better at teaching than selling, he left to start providing guitar lessons.

As fate would have it, his third student would end up being British filmmaker Guy Ritchie, who had just received a guitar from his then girlfriend, Madonna. Soon after, Monte was introduced to the iconic performer, and became her guitar teacher as well. A month later, Monte was invited to join Madonna on stage at the David Letterman Show to promote her album, Music.

Monte has since played guitar on all of her live tours and albums starting with the 2001 Drowned World Tour to sharing writing credits on some of her songs.

Monte has also played guitar for the band Prong. He is credited with co-writing songs on “Scorpio Rising” and “Power of the Damager” to which he also added backing vocals and bass. He also played guitar on Prong’s live album “100% Live”.

In November 2009, Monte released his debut acoustic solo album, “The Deepest Dark”. Almost a year after its release, a special bonus version of “The Deepest Dark” was released and immediately reached the No. 1 spot on the Best-Selling Acoustic Albums list at CD-Baby.com. It was also No. 9 in the Top 10 Best-Selling CDs for the Fall of 2010.

In 2011, Monte launched a Kickstarter campaign for his second album, “Pain, Love & Destiny”. It raised a staggering $65,500, making him the top rock musician to raise the most money on the crowd-funding platform at that time. Monte met his initial goal of $5,000 in under 24 hours. It was released later that year and within its first week made it to No. 1 Rock Album, No. 1 Pop Album, and made it onto the Top 10 Albums chart on CD Baby. In addition, it cracked iTunes’ Top 200. Read more.

Armed and ready, PINK VELVET KRUSH are working on new material due to release later in 2015. The band recorded their debut E.P. titled, F.S.O.A., in November 2014. The E.P was produced by Vic Rivera (AdrianGale, Poley/Rivera) at Red V Studios in New York. Vic engineered, mixed and contributed backing vocals to the project. Mastering of F.S.O.A. was done by Bill Leverty (Firehouse) at Leverty Sound in Virginia.

With an impressive resume that includes; World tours, U.S. and European tours, The Vans Warped Tour, recording on Christina Aguilera’s remix of “Car Wash” from the movie “A Shark’s Tale”, opened or direct supported just about every national band there is, plus sold out venues across the nation, and a slew of tribute projects to boot, the members in PINK VELVET KRUSH exploded on to the scene in late 2014 and established the group as a rock and roll force to be reckoned with. PINK VELVET KRUSH quickly built a fan base just after announcing the project, then recorded and released two tracks (‘Ball and Chain’ and ‘One Shot’),  offering them for free to their fans.

Industry feedback of PINK VELVET KRUSH has been so overwhelming that the band was able to complete a short run of tour dates from August to November in 2014; including festival performances.

In December, PVK had some downtime and made a few internal changes in preparation for 2015 and the new material will prove to be a departure from what they have already done and take the band in a new direction.

PINK VELVET KRUSH includes drummer Joe Larsen, guitarists Greg Polcari and Sean Quidgeon, vocalist Doug ‘Savage’ Ramey, and bassist Shane West.
