Band Members Tarra Layne and a killer band. Hometown Pittsburgh, PA / Los Angeles, CA Record Label Unsigned Affiliation BMI Tarra Layne resides in a place where Grace Potter, Beyonce, and Gretchen Wilson collide – where gritty, care-free, home-grown soul meets sultry pop-rock ‘n roll. Combining her heavy 90s R&B upbringing with a love for rock and blues, Tarra is uprooting and constructing a style of her own. It has been referred to as Funktry due to her big, soulful timbre, southern attitude, and contemporary twist. This red-headed blues broad will rattle your emotions and free your raw rebellious side. Introducing, Tarra Layne was released in November 2011 and she quickly earned a spot gracing the stage with Gavin DeGraw and Vanessa Carlton for the Origins Rocks Earth Month concert at Webster Hall in 2012. Beautiful Day has been featured in Origins Skin Cares campaigns and she captivated the Pittsburgh regional area being recognized by the Iron City as an artist on the rise. The Yellow Couch Sessions, recorded live in a small studio in Pittsburgh, feature three rocking tunes that have earned Tarra quite a following. She has recently been finishing up recording a blues project based out Minneapolis featuring renowned players such as Steve Cropper, Dr. Fink, Sonny T, Leland Sklar, Waddy Wachtel, Russ Kunkel, Michael Bland, and Jellybean Johnsonn – to name a few. With countless of followers and thousands of downloads later, Tarra is creating something quite extraordinary. The" vision" of Silk9 was to "embrace" the essence of the 90’s and add an original spin on today’s hard rock genre. In May of 2014 the band released its first EP entitled “Exit the Pain.” Songs from the EP have been featured on 97.7 fm located in Butler PA, Adrenaline 101 internet radio, 105.9 fm the X, in Pittsburgh PA., 102.5 WDVE in Pittsburgh PA, The PAROCKSHOW.COM, The EAgle 107.5 and recently featured on Lou Lombardi's, Rock n' Roll Circus. We strive to keep our standards high by working with some of the top local bands in the area and national acts such as Lynch Mob, Adelitas Way, The Art of Dying, Hillbilly Herald, Drowning Pool, Crobot,Skid Row and on most recently Jake E Lee's Red Dragon's Cartel Addiction  Band Members Vaine - Vocals,Rhythm Guitar Cosie Varras - Lead Guitar Nikotinn - Bass Chris Rox - Drums Addiction was formed on April 2013 in Athens,Greece. Members of Addiction first met in the late 90′s,back then as members of Perpetual and Ekptotoi Aggeloi. Perpetual was the solo band of Cosie Varras aka Overlord. Cosie and his band had played many shows mainly in Athens-Greece and Los Angeles-California. He has also released 3 albums. Ekptotoi Aggeloi,the band of Vaine and Chris Rox performed more than 100 shows in their native country,Greece. They also released 1 album that hit the greek charts. In 2011,Vaine joined Junkyard 69 where he met bassist Nikotinn. Three years later,Nikotinn joins Addiction. For a long time,Cosie,Vaine and Chris wanted to put a band together,and so they finally decided to form Addiction. Their music is a mix of modern glam,hard n' heavy rock.While main influences are rock bands from the 80′s & 90's,Addiction is trying to create a new sound and want to be unique. At the moment,the band is recording the debut album,while getting ready for a European tour which is gonna take place later in 2014.
